****THE PROCESS****

Having Fought the Exhausting Insurance Fight & Having Felt the Devastating Financial impact of
being DENIED INSURANCE COVERAGE for Medical Food Formula to treat our
Son's Disease....

We decided to SPEARHEAD Legislation to change this......
It was a 6 month Legislative Process that took A LOT of Hours, Hard Work, Travel, Research
& Preparation, Emails, Phone Calls, Support of Family & Friends, Meetings, Appointments,
Testifying in House & Senate Hearings
AND Most of
all..... Prayer.

This was a
LIFE CHANGING Experience for us as we navigated the  unfamiliar world of our
State Legislature.  Neither of us come from a political background.
We are 2 mothers...fueled
by the Love we have for Our Children...Driven by our Passion to help others who suffer from
this very difficult Disease.....

~We Gratefully THANK~

Working on this Legislation took it's toll.  We would like to THANK ALL of THOSE who
HELPED  Make it Possible.
First, we Thank
GOD...who guided Us & this BILL the whole way through.
It really was Divinely Led.
Our Husbands,
Rocco  &  Vince  .....
Without their HELP, SUPPORT & Keeping the Home Fires Burning we could not have done it.
We Love You.
Our Children who sacrificed time without mom as we worked on the bill.....
Our
Families & Friends for all of the Emails, Calls, Prayers & Support....
Of course
Steve Huffman, Jo Grant & all at the State Capitol who helped our bill....
Our Support Group for
all of their Help & Support.
A Special Hug , Acknowledgement & Thank You to
Christina , Grace ,  Julie , Lori , Shelly  &  Valerie
for your work on this Bill.
Dr Hobeich,  Dr Markowitz,  Dr Manthei,  APFED,  CURED & the EGID Community for their
Support & Contributions.

Working
together we learned that with hard work, dedication, laughter, perseverance & faith....
God really will accomplish "The Improbable & The Impossible."

We encourage YOU to take on this Legislative Fight in Your State.
Representative HUFFMAN
Sponsored our Legislation and Worked Tirelessly on  the Bill.  Insurance Mandates are very
difficult to pass and we will always be grateful for the dedication & experience that he provided.
Truly ---Rep Huffman EPITOMIZES how a State Official should Represent the People.

Having SPEARHEADED this Legislation, We
worked hard with Steve & his staff to move this
bill through the process.  We experienced first hand WHO THIS POLITICIAN IS .
First and foremost, he is
GENUINE, HONEST, A FAMILY MAN WHO CARES ABOUT
ARIZONA FAMILIES, EXPERIENCED, WELL RESPECTED, LOYAL & HARD WORKING.

Steve believed in the Injustice of Medical Food Treatment being DENIED to families
and he FOUGHT for our Children !
We will
ALWAYS Be Grateful  !
